School girl, female employee molested in Misrod

Bhopal: A case of obscene acts with a class XII student living in Shahjahanabad area and a female employee living in Misrod area has come to light. The police have registered a case against the accused in both the cases and have started efforts to arrest them. According to the police, the 18-year-old girl living in Shahjahanabad area studies in class XII. On Tuesday evening around 5 o’clock, she was playing with the children, when her ball went to the house of a young man named Bhavani living nearby. When the girl reached to pick up the hair, Bhavani made an obscene gesture to her. When the girl opposed it, the accused abused her and slapped her. After reaching home, the victim informed the family about the incident. The next day the family took her to the police station, where the victim registered a case against Bhavani.

In another incident, Misrod police has registered a case of stalking and molestation against a young man named Manish on the report of a 48-year-old woman. Police said that the woman living in the area is a government employee. She is originally from a nearby district. A young man named Manish used to visit her in-laws’ house, and she knew him. Manish also used to do work for her family. For the last few days, he was forcibly calling her. When the woman refused to call him, he started following her and harassing her. Even after a lot of persuasion, when Manish’s actions did not stop, the victim went to the police station and registered a case against him. The police is trying to arrest the accused.

Mobile and other items worth lakhs stolen during travel.

Half a dozen mobile phones and other items worth lakhs of rupees were stolen during travel in trains passing through the capital. GRP Bhopal and Rani Kamalapati have registered a case against unknown thieves on the report of passengers. However, not a single incident has been solved. According to information, Taufiq Alam, a resident of Bihar, was travelling with his wife and children in Rani Kamalapati Agartala Express from Kishanganj to Rani Kamalapati station. During this time, he had hung his lady’s purse near the seat. When he got down at the station, he saw that the purse was missing. The purse contained 2 mobile phones worth Rs 30 thousand, cash, keys and other items. Similarly, Naveen Patel, a resident of Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh had come to Bhopal to take an exam. While he was waiting for the train at the passenger canteen of the railway station, someone stole his bag. The bag contained a mobile phone worth Rs 27 thousand, clothes and other items. Purse from the pocket and the bag kept on the seat were stolen. Mahesh Uikey, a resident of Damoh, was travelling from Bhopal to Multai in the general coach of Dakshin Express. A few minutes after the train left Bhopal station, when he looked, the purse kept in his pocket was missing.
