Bhopal: A scooter riding miscreant snatched iPhone of a youth walking in Mangalwara area and fled away. Police have registered a case against the unknown robber. Due to it being night, the complainant was unable to see the appearance of the miscreant and the number of the scooter. Police is investigating the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area.
According to the police, Sunil Sahu (43) lives in Bagh Umravdulha, Indira Colony Police Station Ashbagh and does private work. At around quarter to twelve at night, he was walking to his house before Bharat Talkies Over Bridge. Meanwhile, when Sunil got a call from his friend, he took out the mobile from his pocket and started walking while talking. Sunil went ahead for a little distance, then a miscreant came from behind on a scooter from Zamzam Hotel and snatched the mobile phone from his hand and fled towards Bharat Talkies. Later, Sunil went to Mangalwara police station and lodged a report of mobile robbery.
Meanwhile, the bike of a youth living in Bajaria was stolen. According to the police, Arif Khan (38) lives in Garmagadda Bajariya and works as a furniture repairer. He parked his bike in front of Muskan Talkies and went for work. When he returned after some time, the bike was gone. Even after a lot of searching, when the bike was not found, Arif went to the police station and filed a report of theft.

Jewellery and cash stolen by breaking the lock
The thieves broke the lock of a room in the Nevri temple complex in Shahjahanabad and stole jewellery and cash worth thousands of rupees. The police have registered a case against unknown thieves. According to the police, Gaurav Mishra (21) is originally from Sirmaur district Rewa. Currently, he lives in the Nevri temple complex and works as a pandit. One of his brothers works as a pandit in Kubereshwar Dham Sehore. Recently, he had gone to his brother, where his brother gave him some money to deposit in the bank. On returning, Gaurav kept the said money in the cupboard of his room. Her friend’s gold bracelets and rings were also kept in the cupboard.

Woman’s body recovered from well at midnight
The body of a woman living in Nazirabad was recovered from a well. The woman had left her children and gone somewhere from home in the afternoon. During the search, her body was recovered from a well located at some distance from the house late at night. After the post-mortem on Sunday, the body was handed over to the family. The reasons for the incident will be revealed only after the statement of the family members.
Police station in-charge Krishna Singh Thakur said that Monika Bai Vishwakarma wife Shivcharan Vishwakarma (22) was a resident of village Khejra Ghat and was a housewife. She was married about six years ago. The woman has two children. On Saturday morning, her husband and other family members had gone to work. When they reached home in the evening, the children told that their mother had left the house in the afternoon without telling anything, but did not return. The family started searching for her by inquiring from the village as well as relatives.
At around 12 o’clock at night, the family members looked into a well located in a nearby field and saw Monika Bai inside the well. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and with the help of the villagers, took out the body and sent it for postmortem. After the postmortem on Sunday, the body was handed over to the family. No injury marks were found on the woman’s body. Initially, the police is considering it a suicide, but the real reasons of the incident will be revealed only after investigation.

Woman raped in Nazirabad area
A woman living in Nazirabad area was raped by a youth of the same village after entering her house. At the time of the incident, the woman’s husband had gone out of town. The police have registered a case against the accused and started searching for him. Police station in-charge Krishna Singh Thakur said that the 30-year-old woman living in the area is a housewife. Her husband is a contractor. On October 3, the woman was alone at home with the children, while her husband had gone out for work. At around 2:30 in the night, a youth named Virendra living in the village entered the woman’s house and raped her by threatening her. When the husband returned home on Sunday, the woman informed him about the incident. After that the husband took her to Nazirabad police station, where the victim lodged a report of rape against Virendra. The police is trying to arrest the accused.
