SEBI has benefited industrialists: Congress

Madhya Pradesh Congress leaders protested against the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the capital Bhopal. During this, the Congress alleged that SEBI has benefited industrialists at the behest of the Modi government.

Earlier, Congress marched on foot from the office to Vyapam Square, where the leaders addressed the workers. After the address, they marched on foot from Vyapam Square and were stopped before reaching the ED office. Congress workers going to the ED office were stopped by barricading. Angered by this, Congress workers climbed the barricade. After this, the police used a water cannon. In-charge Bhanwar Jitendra Singh and PCC Chief Jitu Patwari also climbed the barricade. Meanwhile, there was a clash between the police force and Congress workers. All India Congress Committee general secretary and state in-charge Bhanwar Jitendra Singh, state president Jeetu Patwari, leader of opposition Umang Singhar, deputy leader of opposition Hemant Katare and Kamleshwar Patel, Rahul Rathore, BHEL labour leader Deepak Gupta and other workers were present in the protest.

Still waiting for Congress state executive: Jitendra

Workers will have to wait for the Madhya Pradesh Congress executive. State Congress in-charge Bhanwar Jitendra Singh has given a big statement regarding the formation of the executive. He said that the working (ground) workers will get a place in the executive. The names of the workers working on the ground are being considered. Those working for the party full time will get a place in the executive. The state in-charge has raised questions on the old executive. The earlier executive included 1 thousand officials.
