New Delhi, July 26 (UNI) Former BJP National Vice President, Prabhat Jha, passed away on Friday morning in a hospital in Gurugram.
He was 67.
Former Madhya Pradesh BJP state president Jha passed away at 5 am at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, after a short illness.
It has been told that his body will be taken to Kurmai village in Madhubani district of Bihar, and his last rites will be performed there.
Jha was born in the Sitamarhi district of Bihar on June 4, 1957. He was a journalist before joining politics. He worked in Dainik Swadesh Gwalior, and later he was also the editor of Bharatiya Janata Party’s magazine Kamal Sandesh in Delhi.
