Mumbai, July 29 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Monday rallied 417.77 points to 81,759.49 in the opening session as buying was seen across the board.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 104.20 points to 24,949.05.
The BSE registered intraday highs and lows at 81,980.45 and 81,866.45 pts, respectively.
The NSE registered days high and low at 24,980.45 and 24,866.45 pts, respectively.
The Mid Cap moved up 0.85 pc and the Small Cap by 1.25 pc.
In 30 scrips, 18 advanced while 12 declined.
The gainers were L&T by 2.77 pc to Rs 3774.90, SBI by 2.56 pc to Rs 885.05, ICICI Bank by 2.41 pc to Rs 1236.80, IndusInd Bank by 2.31 pc to Rs 1435.50, and Bajaj Finserv by 1.12 pc to Rs 1603.75.
The losers were Titan by 1.91 pc to Rs 3428.80, Tech Mahindra by 1.55 pc to Rs 1516.55, and Bharti Airtel by 1.53 pc to Rs 1491.55.
