Mumbai, Nov 9 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Thursday slipped 143.41 pts to settle at 64,832.20 as selling was seen in IT, Technology and Oil and Gas stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 48.20 pts at 19,395.30.
The Sensex rose 50 pts to open at 65,025. During the day, it was gained 71 pts at 65,046, days high,In late trade, it was dropped 207 pts at 64,768.76, days low, before closing at 64,832.20, sliding 143.41 pts from its previous close.
The stocks include IT, Technology, BSE services and Oil and Gas stocks dragged the market.
IT fell by 0.74 pc, Technology by 0.72 pc, BsE Services by 0.66 pc and Oil and Gas by 0.75 pc.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.06 pc while Small Cap declined by 0.27 pc.
In 30 scrips, 13 advanced while 17 declined.
The losers were Hind Unilever by 1.56 pc to Rs 2478, Tech Mahindra by 1.49 pc to Rs 1122.20, Reliance Industries by 1.11 pc to Rs 2310.65 and Bajaj Finance by 1 pc to Rs 7383.95.
The gainers were M & M by 4.09 pc to Rs 1548.15, Powergrid by 1.67 pc to Rs 210.35, IndusInd Bank by 1.31 pc to Rs 1508, L& T by 1 pc to Rs 3025 and Tata Steel by 0.55 pc to Rs 119.70.
