Sensex falls over 100 pts

Mumbai, Mar 7 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Friday slipped 139 pts at 74,200 in opening session as selling was seen across the board amid mixed trend in Asian Market.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 42.80 pts at 22,501.90.

After two days rally, the equity market was seen weak in early trade today.

The Sensex registered intra days high at 74,379.54 and intra day’s low at 74,038.03 pts.

The Nifty registered days high and low at 22,572.85 and 22,464.75 pts respectively.

The Mid cap fell 0.05 pc while small cap rose by 0.47 pc.

In 30 scrips, 9 advanced while 21 declined.

The losers were Infosys by 1.05 pc to Rs 1695.15, HCL Technology by 0.96 pc to Rs 1570, NTPC by 0.96 pc to Rs 334.50 and Zomato by 0.75 pc to Rs 223.70.

The gainers were Adani Ports by 1.13 pc to Rs 1148.05, Tata Motors by 1.06 pc to Rs 646.50, Tata Steel by 0.90 pc to Rs 151.70 and Reliance Industries by 0.53 pc to Rs 1217.
