Mumbai, Apr 21 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Monday posted a massive gains of 881.75 pts at 79,434.95 till noon as strong buying was seen across the board amid Foreign Fund inflows.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) advanced 292.80 pts at 24,144.45 pts.
The BSE Sensex registered intra day high at 79,475.51 and intra day low at 78,976.06 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered days high at 24,146.25 and low at 23,903.65 pts.
The Mid cap rose 1.74 pc and Small cap by 1.40 pc.
In 30 scrips, 23 advanced while 7 declined.
The gainers were Tech Mahindra by 5.54 pc to Rs 1378.20, IndusInd Bank by 4.54 pc to Rs 830.50, Bajaj Finserv by 3.92 pc to Rs 2113.50 and Axis Bank by 3.50 pc to Rs 1232.30.
The losers were Adani Ports by 2.40 pc to Rs 1229.70, ITC by 1.26 pc to Rs 421.85 and Hind Unilever by 0.98 pc to Rs 2251.30.
