Farrukhabad (UP), Mar 13 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that when wrong people come to power, they ordered firing on Ram Bhakts, but when a good and sensitive government is elected, the devotees of Lord Ram are valued.
While addressing a public meeting at the Christian College grounds, the CM stated, “Today, Ram devotees are being given easy darshan in Ayodhya. Earlier governments used to create only controversies, but today there is no dispute and every problem is solved.”
He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 102 development projects worth Rs 288 crore on the occasion. He also distributed smartphones to the students under the Swami Vivekananda Scheme.
Yogi also launched a pilot project to provide loan facilities to farmers in 10 minutes under the Digital Public Infrastructure for Agriculture Agri Stake Scheme.
He said, “Farrukhabad district of UP has become the first district in the country to connect with the loan facility within 10 minutes through Kisan Credit Card under the Agri Stake Scheme. The land of Farrukhabad has been the place of meditation for Lord Buddha, Jain Tirthankaras and Baba Neem Karoli.”
The CM also assured that Sankisa Dham’s beautification work will be completed soon. Apart from this, the Dham of Baba Neem Karoli will also be beautified, he said.
He said that significant progress has been made under the Namami Gange initiative, assuring that any pending tasks will be accomplished before the Prayagraj Kumbh.
Yogi reiterated the commitment to linking Farrukhabad with the Ganga Expressway while emphasising the efficiency of the double-engine government, ensuring swift progress. “Survey of 100 kilometres of Farrukhabad has been completed and plans are underway to integrate the Ganga Expressway with the Bundelkhand Expressway,” he said.
Remembering late BJP leader Brahma Dutt Dwivedi, he said, “This earth belongs to sons like Dwivedi, whose life was dedicated to nationalism. He exposed Samajwadi Party’s (SP) ‘chir-haran’, and was a true nationalist. He advocated for the purification of politics.”
The CM said, “Today, we have made the law and order situation in the state so good that it is being discussed nationwide. Daughters and traders are safe in the state, farmers are prosperous and the youth are becoming self-reliant and standing on their own feet to live independent lives.”
He said, “This is the same UP, which was considered a BIMARU state before 2017. People considered it the biggest obstacle to the country’s development. But, today we have made a breakthrough and become the country’s growth engine. Earlier, all the discussions about UP revolved around caste, creed, and religion. There were no discussions about farmers, youth, businessmen, women, religion and faith.”
Yogi announced that the government will soon issue a family ID card. “This will allow for arrangements for housing, toilets, Ayushman cards, pensions and rations for people left out of welfare schemes,” he said.
He said, “A new city in UP will be established between Kanpur and Jhansi; care has also been taken to ensure that Farrukhabad is not deprived of development and connectivity. Your one vote got the Ram temple built in Ayodhya and the Ganga Express was brought to Farrukhabad. Similarly, your one vote has also been responsible for employing the youth, protecting daughters and businessmen and shaping your future.”
