- Stirring in state BJP due to Amit Shah’s address and attitude
- Home Minister Amit Shah gives clear instructions to BJP organization to deal with infighting
Milind Muzumdar, Indore
There is massive discussion going on in the state BJP organization on Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s address in Mandla and his stay in Gwalior. According to sources, Amit Shah has asked all the top men of the state BJP organization to take strict steps to end the infighting and factionalism. In the context of defection by old BJP leaders, Amit Shah has asked the state organization as to why such a large number of BJP leaders are leaving the party.
Actually, Amit Shah was to launch Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Sheopur but he got stuck at Gwalior airport due to the rain. He started the Jan Ashirwad Yatra from there and gave the address on mobile. During the meeting in Gwalior, he also discussed with party president Vishnu Dutt Sharma and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan regarding Jyotiraditya Scindia and his supporters. For the last several months, there has been a ruckus between MLAs, ministers and leaders supporting Jyotiraditya Scindia. Especially in Gwalior Chambal region, there is a constant tussle between the MLAs of Jyotiraditya Scindia and the BJP candidates who were defeated by them in the 2018 elections. Due to this rhetoric, Scindia supporters have become insecure about their political future. This is the reason why many big Scindia supporters have started taking membership of Congress. Amit Shah virtually warned the state BJP leaders to stop making statements against Scindia and accept the reality that Jyotiraditya Scindia is a big leader of the BJP and will always remain in the party.
According to sources, to end the internal conflict, National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh is going to camp in Bhopal soon. The high command wants that before the Mahakumbh on 25th September, the workers and BJP organizations should unite and prepare for the program so that the Mahakumbh can be successful as per its set target. According to sources, the party is also going to take some more steps to remove the resentment of Uma Bharti. Recently, Uma Bharti’s nephew Rahul Singh Lodhi has been made Minister of State. Uma Bharti will also be persuaded to participate in the Jan Ashirwad Yatra. Amit Shah has reviewed Gwalior and Chambal region at Gwalior Airport itself. He had taken a meeting of the workers of this division last month.
State organization worried due to tussle in BJP
According to sources, as the elections are approaching, the angry BJP leaders who were silent for a long time are coming out vocally. According to sources, the tussle that had come to light between senior cabinet ministers in Sagar district did not work out even after the Chief Minister gave an explanation. The situation which is in Sagar is the same in Damoh, Satna, Jabalpur and Ujjain districts, where big giants are at loggerheads with each other. Till now it was believed that there is more problem in BJP in the area of Jyotiraditya Scindia supporting MLAs and ministers, but even where Scindia supporters are not effective or not there at all, there is a tussle in BJP. Especially in Vindhya, Baghelkhand and Bundelkhand regions, tremendous internal conflict and competition is coming to the fore among BJP leaders. According to sources, as the elections approach, the patience of the neglected, dissatisfied leaders and workers has broken. For this reason, a flood of dissatisfaction is coming to the fore. Due to this tussle in the organization, BJP’s election campaign is being badly affected. According to sources, Sah Sarkaryavah Arun Kumar, who is looking after the coordination work between BJP and Sangh, has taken feedback from area campaigner Deepak Vispute about the condition of Madhya Pradesh organization. According to sources, soon the Sangh may summon big leaders in this regard.
