Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it would be better if the society evaluates the development works done by the government in the last one year. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is moving forward on the path of progress by setting big goals of development and public welfare. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that progress stops if one is satisfied with one’s work. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this in the “Agenda Aaj Tak” program organized in New Delhi on Saturday.
CM Dr. Yadav said that continuous work is being done for investment and ease of business in the state. The government is attracting investment by organizing Regional Industry Conclave in the divisional headquarters of the state and road shows in the major industrial cities of the country. He said that investments of 60 thousand crores have been received from the UK visit and about 20 thousand crores from the Germany visit. Madhya Pradesh is a resource-rich state and the economy of the state is being boosted through business-friendly and labor-friendly policies.
Dr. Yadav informed that the growth rate of agriculture in the state has reached 25%. In view of the possibility of development in related sectors like milk production in the coming time, an agreement has been signed with NDDB with the aim of increasing the income of farmers through cooperation.
Madhya Pradesh is turning the river linking concept of former Prime Minister late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee into reality along with the neighboring states. With the help of the central government, the foundation stone of Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal projects is going to be laid soon. This will meet the water requirements of industry and agriculture.
CM Dr. Yadav informed that the government is determined to improve the standard of living of the people of the state. For the empowerment of women in the state, an amount of Rs 1250 per month and Rs 450 for purchasing gas cylinder is transferred under the Ladli Behna Yojana. The state is also at the forefront in cleanliness. The operation of Vande Metro is being considered in the state.
