Sonakshi unveils poster of her upcoming ‘Kakuda’

New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) Sonakshi Sinha has shared an exciting update about her next project, titled ‘Kakuda’.

Taking to Instagram, Sonakshi treated fans with a new intriguing poster, featuring herself standing in the dark holding a flambeau.

She looks terrified while holding long stick with fire.

The text on the poster teases, “A freakishly spooky comedy.”

Captioning the post, Sonakshi wrote, “Indira doesn’t believe in ghosts, but Kakuda’s wrath is about to get very personal. Can she survive the mayhem? #AbMardKhatreMeinHai #Kakuda premiering on 12th July, only on ZEE5.”

As soon as the poster was shared, fans flooded the comment section to shower their best wishes.

“Kakuda” promises to blend horror and comedy in a unique way.

Besides Sonakshi Sinha, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, “Kakuda” is set in the village of Ratodi in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district.

About the film, “In the village of Ratodi, a curse demands that every house has two doors: one normal-sized and one smaller. Every Tuesday at 7.15 pm, the smaller door must be opened to avoid the wrath of Kakuda, who punishes the men. The film explores the mystery of Kakuda, his motives, and the villagers’ struggle to lift the curse.”
