SpaceX again delays launch of Polaris dawn mission due to bad weather conditions

Washington, Aug 28 (UNI) The launch of the Dragon spacecraft with the Polaris Dawn mission has been postponed again due to adverse weather conditions forecasted in the splashdown area, SpaceX said on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, SpaceX said that the launch of the Polaris Dawn mission was postponed until Wednesday due to a helium leak in the ground section of the launcher.

“Due to unfavorable weather forecasted in Dragon’s splashdown areas off the coast of Florida, we are now standing down from tonight and tomorrow’s Falcon 9 launch opportunities of Polaris Dawn,” the company said on X.

The company also said that its teams will continue to monitor the weather to ensure favorable launch conditions.
