Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar said in the Assembly today that he will pay his income tax himself.
During the Zero Hour, Mr. Tomar said that as the Speaker of the Assembly, he will pay his income tax himself and will not let its burden come on the Assembly. He said that recently CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has also decided that all the ministers will pay their income tax themselves.
In the same sequence, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar said that the Leader of Opposition and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly will also pay their income tax themselves from now on.
During the last meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, the CM had decided that all the ministers of the state government including him will pay their income tax themselves. The government had been paying the income tax of the Council of Ministers in the state for the last five decades.
