Bhopal: Six motor cycles worth Rs 3 lakh recovered during investigation of stolen bikes by Khajuri police. Thieves used to steal two wheelers from wedding garden after seeing wedding muhurat on mobile.
Police station Khajuri Road, Bhopal, during night vehicle checking, caught a gang involved in vehicle theft and recovered 06 motorcycles from them.
On February 8, during night patrol vehicle checking in Police Station Khajuri Road District Bhopal, two suspicious persons were seen coming on a numberless motor cycle, when stopped, they tried to run away after seeing the police, but they were stopped by cordoning off. When asked the name and address, they told their names as Satish Menwada, son of Bane Singh Menwada, 19 years, resident of village Dodi, police station Doraha, district Sehore and Rohit Purvia, son of Sukhram Purvia, 21 years, resident of village Dodi, police station Doraha, district Sehore and were accused of the crime. When interrogated, they confessed to thr crime.
During the investigation, under the direction of senior officers, the accused were interrogated by Khajuri Road police station in connection with the theft of another vehicle. They admitted stealing bikes from different marriage gardens. The accused told that they used to see the mahurat of marriage on the mobile and then used to plan theft accordingly.
