Bhopal: Police have arrested 3 women of Pardi gang in the case of theft in an electronic shop located in Ayodhya Nagar. Stolen goods worth Rs 1 lakh have been recovered from them. All three women work as garbage pickers. While picking garbage, they used to do recce of shops and houses. Police is interrogating the accused about other incidents of theft and burglary.
According to police, Vaibhav Singh. son of Harendra Singh (28). lives in Santoshi Vihar Colony Ayodhya Nagar and runs an electronic shop. On August 4, he told the police that thieves broke the lock of the shop shutter and stole electronic goods worth about Rs 1 lakh. Police had registered a case against unknown thieves in this matter.
A special police team was deployed to search for the accused. The team scanned the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area and activated informers, after which three suspicious women were identified. When the police took the three into custody and questioned them, they first tried to mislead the police, but later accepted breaking the shutter of the shop and stealing. All three women are illiterate and work as garbage collectors. The crime was committed at 5 in the morning.
The police have arrested the accused Bimal Pardi alias Rohitma, Niranjana Pardi and Kareena Pardi in this case. All three women are residents of Ehsan Nagar Karond Police Station Nishatpura.
Youth thrashed for stopping from drinking alcohol
In Shahjahanabad, a miscreant beat up a youth when he stopped him from drinking alcohol in front of his house. According to the police, Rohit Nagaraj (21) lives in Bajpai Nagar Multi and works in a private job. He reached his slum near the water filter plant at around 10 pm. At that time, a youth named Shanu was drinking alcohol in front of the slum. When Rohit stopped him from drinking alcohol in front of the slum, he beat him up. Rohit has suffered serious injuries on his head, elbow and back. The people around somehow intervened between the two. Later, Rohit went to the police station and registered a case against the accused.
Woman thrashed for not giving money
Kamla Nagar police have registered a case of intimidation against a youth on the report of a woman. According to the police, 50-year-old Sushila lives in Ganga Nagar and is a housewife. On Friday evening at around 7 pm, she was standing outside her house and talking to a woman living in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, a young man named Lala arrived and asked Sushila for a thousand rupees to drink alcohol. When the woman said that she did not have money, Lala abused her and beat her up. When the neighbor tried to intervene, he also beat her up. On Saturday, the victim went to the police station and registered a case against the accused for abuse.
