Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized the necessity of intensive monitoring to dismantle drug networks. He instructed the police to take strict action against suspicious individuals by increasing patrolling in areas prone to drug-related activities, on a station-by-station basis. He also called for enhanced surveillance of suspicious hookah bars, nightclubs, and similar establishments. To curb drug trafficking, he advised launching a coordinated campaign with neighboring states to target inter-state gangs. Additionally, he stressed the importance of taking firm action against cattle smugglers. In the meeting, directives were issued to make special efforts to prevent crimes against women and promote women’s empowerment. Dr. Yadav underscored the need to ensure the harshest punishments for those convicted of sexually assaulting minors and called for a special campaign to recover missing girls.
