- Democracy fighters will get the facility of air ambulance and discount in air taxi fare; Dr. Yadav addressed regional conference of democracy fighters
Bhopal: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said on Wednesday that the struggle story of the Emergency will become part of the curriculum. With the aim of making the present generation aware of the sufferings of the Emergency, the then circumstances, repression and the tenacity of the democracy fighters will be mentioned in the curriculum. Dr. Yadav was addressing the regional conference of democracy fighters at the Chief Minister’s residence. Dr. Yadav welcomed the democracy fighters who came to the Chief Minister’s residence by showering flowers on them.
Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and garlanding the pictures of Bharat Mata, Nanaji Deshmukh and Jayaprakash Narayan. The regional conference of democracy fighters started with the singing of Vande Mataram. He said that the Chief Minister’s residence is not the Chief Minister’s residence, but a part of the democratic system, and democracy fighters are the most respected people of the democratic system. It is their right to come to the Chief Minister’s residence with respect and it is our duty to welcome and respect the fighters, it is our good fortune that democracy fighters have come to the Chief Minister’s residence.
Democracy fighters will get many facilities
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that democracy fighters will be provided the facility of staying in the Circuit House and Rest House for three days and 50 percent discount in rent. Those democracy fighters who have not received copper plates till now will be provided copper plates. Democracy fighters will also get discounts at toll nakas on showing the pass. There will be no delay in payment of expenses incurred on treatment through their Ayushman card. The collector will ensure payment within three months. In case of serious health problems, air ambulance facility will be provided to them to go to big hospitals or other metros for treatment. Under the air taxi facility started in the state, 25 percent discount will be provided in the fare. Arrangements will be made for the last rites of democracy fighters with national honor. Along with this, the amount of eight thousand rupees given at the time of funeral will be increased to ten thousand rupees. Employment will be arranged for the family members of democracy fighters by providing them necessary training for setting up industries or other business activities.
