Students spread rainbow colors with their talent

Badhawa of Haryana got first place, Pahari Nati of Himachal got second place and Sama Chakwa of Bihar got third place in folk dance

The three-day National Balrang Mahotsava 2023, organized by the School Education Department at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya Complex, Bhopal, concluded on Thursday with the prize distribution ceremony.

In the closing ceremony, 80 students of government schools of the state presented the Global Vrindgaan under the direction of musician Umesh Tarakaswar. Chief guest of the program, Padmashree Dr. Kapil Tiwari and Commissioner of Public Instruction Anubha Srivastava welcomed the participating students. On this occasion, Director of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya Amitabh Pandey, Deputy Secretary Manjusha Rai, Director of Public Instruction DS Kushwaha, KK Dwivedi, Joint Director of Public Instruction (Bhopal Division) Arvind Chorgade, various officers, teachers, participating students from different states including their mentors and parents were present. School students from 22 states and union territories including Madhya Pradesh participated in the National Balrang program organized by the School Education Department. In the National Balrang, the first prize of Rs 51 thousand was given to Badhawa folk dance of Haryana, the second prize of Rs 31 thousand was given to Pahari Naati folk dance of Himachal along with trophy and citation for the excellent presentation given by the participating school students of different states in the traditional folk dance of the states.

Public Instruction Commissioner congratulates participants

Commissioner Public Instruction Srivastava said that in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020, the participating students and teachers from all the states deserve congratulations for spreading the rainbow by coloring the National Children’s Color. He congratulated all the participating students and teachers from different states. Mrs. Srivastava said that these three-day memories of National Balrang will remain fresh in the lives of children throughout their life. She said that if children get proper platform and right guidance, they can establish their talent in any field and create their own unique identity in the society.
