Mumbai, Apr 9 (UNI) The trailer of “Odela 2”, headlines by Tamannaah Bhatia, has officially premiered, teasing a gripping tale of mysticism, power and retribution.
A direct sequel to “Odela – Railway Station” “Odela 2” is set against the backdrop of a rural village tormented by the sinister forces of dark magic and occult rituals. The narrative centres around a malevolent sorcerer played by Vasishta N Simha, who terrorises the villagers, particularly targeting women, through the use of dark magic and black tantra.
At the heart of this perilous narrative emerges Shiva Shakthi (Tamannaah), a luminous embodiment of divine feminine power, who vows to dismantle the evil that has engulfed her people.
With its expansive scale and immersive storytelling, “Odela 2” boasts a stellar ensemble including Hebah Patel, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, Murali Sharma, Sharath Lohitashwa, Srikanth Iyengar and Pooja Reddy.
The film is directed by Ashok Teja and produced by D Madhu under the Madhu Creations banner, with the story, screenplay, and dialogues penned by Sampath Nandi.
While the Hindi version will be presented by Aditya Bhatia under Advise Movies and distributed in Hindi regions by Jai Viratra Entertainment Ltd.
Its music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, celebrated for his haunting soundscapes in Kantara.
“Odela 2” is slated for a theatrical release on April 17.
