Bhopal: Under the guidance of senior officers, a campaign is being run to prevent crimes and nab vehicle thieves. In this connection, on Wednesday, information was received from an informer that a person is standing near Berasia bus stand talking about selling a Scooty Access at a low price.
A team was dispatched to verify the information and take action, where a person was found with a Scooty Access. When asked his name and address, he told that he was Salman alias Kala, son of Abdul Rais, age 30 years, resident of Danish Colony Housing Board, Nishatpura. When he was questioned about the scooty access, he told something and sometimes something else, but with great difficulty he told that the said vehicle was stolen from police station Teela Jamalpura near Ganesh Chowk. The said scooty access number MP 04 ZF 5822 is related to the crime number of this police station. Vehicle was seized on the spot as it was contraband under section 303(2) BNS.
