Hyderabad, Dec 8 (UNI) BRS chief and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was hospitalised on Friday after sustaining a hip fracture at his farmhouse in Erravelli on the outskirts of the city, sources said.
KCR suffered the left hip injury after he apparently slipped in his farm house on Thursday night.
On Friday morning, he was rushed to the Corporate Yashoda Hospitals for treatment.
After investigation, the doctors at the hospital found that he may have to undergo surgery.
KCR vacated the CM’s official residence Pragati Bhavan after his government was defeated in the November 30 Telangana Assembly Elections. He has been staying at his farmhouse since then.
