Siddipet (Telangana), Dec 8 (UNI) Two police constables lost their lives in a road accident at Jaligam Bypass Road in this district in the early hours of Sunday.
The victims, identified as R Parandamulu (43) and Venkateswarlu (42), served at the Daulatabad Police Station.
According to police, the accident occurred when an unidentified vehicle collided with their motorcycle while travelling from Daulathabad to Gajwel. Both constables died on the spot.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, police added.
Meanwhile, Siddipet MLA and former minister T Harish Rao expressed deep shock over the incident. He assured the bereaved families of all possible support.
