Bhopal: A case of blackmailing a youth of Telangana has come to light in Bhopal. Sukhi Sewania police has registered an FIR against the woman for blackmailing, using abusive language, threatening to kill on the complaint of the victim.
The complainant had filed a private complaint of blackmailing in the court. The court had ordered an investigation into the matter. After investigation, Sukhi Sewania police has registered an FIR. The police has started searching for the accused woman.
According to Sukhi Sewania police, the 27-year-old youth is originally from Telangana. He lives in a colony in Sukhi Sewania, Bhopal. A private complaint was filed by him in the court against the 32-year-old woman. According to the complaint, the accused woman was a contract worker in his office earlier. Here, both of them became friends.
Both of them had gone to watch a movie once. On 1 January 2020, both of them went to visit Bhojpur temple. Here the girl proposed him for marriage. He said yes, till then he was not aware that the girl was already married. After some time he went to meet her at her house. He came to know that the girlfriend was already married. She also has a child.
The young man started meeting her less frequently as soon as he came to know that the girlfriend was already married. This led to disputes between the two. Then the girl pressured him to marry her. She threatened to kill him if he did not agree. She threatened to ruin his career. She extorted 5.35 lakh rupees in several installments by threatening him. The amount was transferred online. The complainant gave the proof of threatening messages on WhatsApp and online transfer of money. After this the police registered an FIR.
After taking 5.35 lakh rupees, the girl pressured the complainant to give another five lakh rupees. She threatened to implicate him in a rape case if he did not give the money, and also threatened to make his personal photos viral. The complainant said that he did not have the money and would pay the money after receiving the salary. On this, the accused abused hm on WhatsApp. A few days later, a rape case was registered against him at Chhola Mandir police station.
The woman registered a rape case against the complainant in May this year. In the FIR, she accused the youth of sexually assaulting her in the room after giving her intoxicants in a cold drink at an acquaintance’s wedding. Evidence was presented in the court on behalf of the complainant that he was in his district in Telangana ten days before the date of the FIR. Evidence of this was given by the complainant.
Chola Mandir police station in-charge Suresh Chandra Nagar said that an FIR was registered against the 27-year-old accused in May on the complaint of the 32-year-old woman. The accused lived in Sukhi Sewania area. He was arrested and sent to jail. A challan has also been presented in the case.
The victim’s lawyer Yawar Khan said that this case will set an example in the society, strict action should be taken against the accused for atrocities against real women. On the court’s instructions, an FIR of extortion has been registered against those who are commercially misusing the law I support of women. This is a historic case.
