Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of educating today’s youth about the lives and contributions of exemplary figures in Indian culture. He instructed that a framework should be developed in collaboration with various departments to promote these historical figures and their teachings among students. The CM urged the Anand Department to take the works and biographies of these cultural icons to schools and colleges, ensuring that students are inspired by the rich legacy of their heritage.

Citing the example of Lord Krishna, Dr. Yadav highlighted his selfless actions for the welfare of others, noting how his family also sacrificed for the happiness of others. He pointed out that history is full of such inspiring examples where individuals prioritized the well-being of others over their own, and stressed the need to share these stories with the current generation.

During a review meeting of the Anand Department and State Anand Sansthan, Dr. Yadav also recommended a study, in collaboration with a state higher education institute or IIT, to assess the scale of happiness among the populace. He suggested the establishment of centers in every district dedicated to ideological and creative activities. These centers, distinct from traditional community halls, should host events where both the general public and intellectuals can participate in meaningful discussions.

Dr. Yadav further suggested that the Anand Department collaborate with other institutions such as the sports, school, and higher education departments, as well as the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, to organize joint activities. He emphasized the importance of not only material prosperity but also spiritual well-being, noting that a peaceful individual contributes to a harmonious society. The department was urged to coordinate efforts with various agencies to foster a sense of happiness across the state.

Additionally, Dr. Yadav proposed that the Anand Department include services for the elderly in its initiatives. This could involve assisting seniors over 75 years old in accessing health benefits or insurance schemes, ensuring their well-being.

In the meeting, it was also revealed that the Anand Department has developed a training program focused on stress relief and promoting joyful behavior. This initiative targets various public service employees and aims to create model villages where harmony, cooperation, and happiness are prevalent, setting an example for others to follow.
