Temporary restrictions introduced at Volgograd Airport: Russian Authority

Moscow, Mar 9 (UNI) Temporary restrictions have been introduced at the Volgograd International Airport, Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) spokesman Artem Korenyako said on Saturday.

“To ensure the safety of flights of civil aircraft, at 22:05 Moscow time [19:05 GMT], temporary restrictions were introduced on the operation of the Volgograd airport … The air harbour is temporarily not accepting or sending flights,” Korenyako wrote on Telegram.

Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers, and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety, which is the top priority, Korenyako added.
