The election picture has become clear in 9 parliamentary constituencies included in the third phase. There will be a contest between a total of 127 candidates.
On the last day of withdrawal of nominations, 14 candidates withdrew their nominations. On the last day, 3 candidates withdrew their nomination from Bhopal parliamentary constituency, due to which now there will be a contest between 22 candidates.
According to Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan, 15 in Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency Morena, 7 in Bhind (SC), 19 in Gwalior, 15 in Guna, 13 in Sagar, 13 in Vidisha, 22 in Bhopal, 15 in Rajgarh and Betul (SC). 8 candidates are left in the election fray. Voting for the third phase will take place on Tuesday, May 7. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.
On Monday, 1 candidate in Morena, 1 in Bhind (SC), 2 in Gwalior, 2 in Guna, 1 in Sagar, 3 in Vidisha, 3 in Bhopal and 1 in Betul (SC) withdrew their nomination papers.
