Prevention of Dengue
To prevent dengue, do not let rain water accumulate on any object or place. Clean drinking water regularly. Do not let water remain in the coolers of the houses for a long time. Keep the drains clean too. Always keep the water covered. Try to wear full sleeve clothes most of the time, using mosquito net while sleeping is a proper solution. At the same time, use spray and cream to repel mosquitoes. According to the Meteorological Department, dengue cases in Bhopal come up in a set pattern every year and they suddenly start increasing. Under this pattern, maximum caution is required in September, October and November.
However, the medical department had predicted that dengue cases will increase even more in 2024. Their prediction now seems to be proving correct.
