Palakkad, Aug 31 (UNI) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold its annual Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak for the first time in Kerala.
The three-day meet will begin on the Ahalia campus, Palakkad, on Saturday.
The organisers said that 32 national office-bearers of various organisations working for social transformation inspired by the RSS’ ideology will participate in the meeting.
Around 230 delegates, including key officials from 32 sangh parivar organisations and BJP national President J P Nadda, organising secretary B L Santhosh, and Sar Sangh Chalak (RSS Chief) Mohan Bhagwat.
Sar Karyavah Dattareya Hosable, six saha karya vahas, Dr Krishnagopal, C R Mukundha, Arun Kumar, Alok Kumar, Ramdath Chakradhar, Athul Limay, National Prachar Pramukh Pradeep Joshi, Uttara Kerala Prant Sangh Chalaka, Adv K K Balaam, and others attended the meet.
The Baithak will focus on and discuss the various nationally relevant issues and ground-level experience of the affiliated organisations.
RSS is planning a nation-wide social transformation in its centenary year based on pancha parivarthan (five fold transformation), including social harmony, family awakening, environmental issues, national selfhood, and civic duties, said RSS Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar.
Srong security arrangements has been made under the District Police Chief R. Anand at the conclave areas for three days.
