Tigress dies, two cubs injured after colliding with train

Bhopal: A tigress died and two cubs were injured after colliding with train at Midghat near Budhni railway station in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh today.

According to Ranger Mahipal Singh, one tigress died after colliding with train on the third railway line near Budhni railway station, while two cubs were injured. Forest team reached the spot after getting information about the incident.

Singh said that many wild animals have died after colliding with train. In view of this, the central government had earlier asked the forest department to install fencing along the tracks of the train. But till date the work of installing mesh fencing between the tracks and the forest has not been done. Due to this, accidents with wild animals keep happening every day.
