Bhopal: Timings of all eight health centres (mini units) working under Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) have changed. All health centres will now operate from 9 am instead of 8 am every day. Also, treatment will now be available in these centres till 5 pm instead of 4 pm. This decision has been taken to provide better medical treatment to the patients coming to the health centres. BMHRC in-charge Director Dr Manisha Shrivastava said that till now the office timings of all the health centres are from 8 am to 4 pm, while the timings of BMHRC are from 9 am to 5 pm. In such a situation, people often get confused about the timings.
Also, it is not easy for patients to reach the health centre from 8 am, due to which the OPD timings of health centres and main hospital have been made the same. She said that prescriptions will be made in the health centres from 9 am to 5 pm. Patients can consult the doctor at any time as per their convenience. Health centres are located at these places: Kainchi Chhola, Station Bajariya, Chandbar, Tila Jamalpura, Ginnauri, Itwara Road, Karond, Bal Vihar.
