Chennai, Sep 27 (UNI) In a tragic incident, a Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) district functionary died in a road accident near suburban Tambaram last night.
Police said Kancheepuram District Congress Committee President Alavur Nagaraj died and two others were injured when a goods carrier hit them while they were having food at a roadside eatery.
Nagaraj (57), was also the Wallajabad Union Councillor.
