Today, 1897 crores will come in accounts of Ladli Bahnas

  • This includes 250 rupees of Rakshabandhan gift

The Ladli Bahnas of the state will experience a double celebration before Rakshabandhan. On August 10, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer Rs.1,250 to the accounts of beneficiary sisters under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana. Additionally, a Rakshabandhan gift of Rs.250 will also be credited to the accounts of the beneficiary women. In total, over Rs.1,897 crore will be distributed to more than 1.29 crore sisters.

The CM will initiate this transfer during a gratitude and gift program for Ladli Behna beneficiaries, which will take place in Vijaypur and Tikamgarh in Sheopur district. Beneficiary women will receive gratitude letters, gifts, and Rakhi during the event.

On August 10, large-scale gratitude and gift programs will be held across all 23,011 gram panchayats and 416 urban bodies in the state. Ministers and public representatives from the state government will participate in these programs in their respective areas. The event, hosted by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, will focus on the themes of Rakshabandhan and Sawan Utsav.

Additionally, tree planting and cultural activities will be organized as part of the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan, where information about government beneficiary-oriented schemes will be shared with participants. The monthly distribution of Rs.1,250 will result in an expenditure of Rs.1,574 crore, while the Rs.250 Rakshabandhan gift will amount to Rs.322 crore.
