On seeing this, he informed his senior officials and control. On getting the information, Divisional Railway Manager along with other officials left for the affected place and some officials took over the operation of trains from Railway Control Office. As per the instructions of Divisional Railway Manager Ratlam, officials of Engineering, Operating, Signal, TRD, Power and other departments immediately started track repair and operation of trains on war footing. In a short while, many other trains including Avantika were going to pass through this track. Considering the seriousness of the incident, trains going towards Godhra were stopped at various stations and under the direction of the Divisional Railway Manager, single line working system was adopted between Mangalmahudi-Limkheda and trains in both up and down directions were run one by one. The officers and employees of the division repaired the track in five hours.
