Bhopal: At Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bharat Bhai Babu Bhai Patni, a member of the De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, before planting a sapling in the Neem Forest of the museum, first took permission from Mother Earth by chanting mantras and then planted neem saplings. He further said that there is no best time or specific time to do good work. Tree plantation is like giving life to someone. Whatever tree we plant, it will become a protector for the society. Monsoon season is on, it is time to take up massive initiatives to plant trees and maintain our ecosystem. Tree plantation can give you fresh air to breath.
On this occasion, Dr. Mrs. Rekha Singhal, Dean of Sri Sri University, Bhubaneswar and Professor Amitabh Pandey, Director of the Museum also planted neem saplings. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Pandey said that we have become so addicted to technology that we ignore its harmful effects on our environment. Not only is the use of technology destroying nature but it is also separating us from it. If we really want to survive and live a good life then more and more trees should be planted.
