Washington, Dec 22 (UNI) US President-elect Donald Trump said that he had nominated the candidacy of billionaire restaurateur Tilman Fertitta to the post of US Ambassador to Italy.
“I am pleased to announce that Tilman J. Fertitta has been nominated to serve as the United States Ambassador to Italy,” Trump said on Truth Social.
Fertitta earned his fortune in the restaurant and hotel business, his net worth is estimated at $10.4 billion. He became the tenth billionaire, whom Trump offered for a post in his future administration.
