Lucknow, July 13 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including 6 police chiefs, official sources said on Saturday.
The sources said Superintendent of Police (SP) Etah Rajesh Kumar Singh has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Kanpur Nagar Police Commissionerate. DCP Varanasi Police Commissionerate Shyam Narain Singh has been posted as SP Etah.
SP, Training and Security, Gaurav Banshwal has been transferred as DCP Varanasi Police Commissionerate. SP Shamli Ahishek has been shifted to Bijnor in the same capacity. SP Bijnor Neeraj Kumar Jadaun has been transferred to Hardoi in the same capacity.
SP Jalaun Iraj Raja has been shifted to Ghazipur in the same capacity. DCP Kanpur Commissionerate Ram Sewak Gautam has been posted as new SP of Shamli district. SP Hardoi Keshav Chand Goswami has been shifted to Intelligence headquarters, Lucknow in the same capacity.
SP Ghazipur Dr Omvir Singh has been transferred as DCP Lucknow Commissionerate. DCP Dr Durgesh Kumar has been posted as new SP of Jalaun.
