Vietnamese Air Force plane crashes in mountains, pilots missing

Hanoi, Nov 6 (UNI) A combat Yak-130 training aircraft of Vietnam’s Air Force has crashed in the central Binh Dinh province, with both pilots went missing, Vietnamese media reported on Wednesday.

The Russian-made Yak-130 of the 940th Vietnamese Air Force regiment crashed at about 10:30 a.m. local time (03:30 GMT) after experiencing a malfunction in a mountainous area about 15 kilometers (9 miles) from Phu Cat Airport, affiliated with the city of Quy Nhon, the VnExpress newspaper reported.

Local authorities are searching for the crashed plane and its two pilots, the report read.
