Bhopal: Vishwakarma Samaj Samiti has handed over a memorandum to the police station in-charge in the case of a youth who committed suicide by hanging himself in Shahpura area. The family members of the deceased have considered the death of their son suspicious and have demanded an impartial investigation. According to the information, Praveen Vishwakarma (34), a resident of Laxmi Parisar Shahpura, committed suicide by hanging himself at home three weeks ago. The deceased’s mother Geeta Vishwakarma has expressed doubts over the son’s suicide. Regarding this, a delegation of the committee led by Sarva Vishwakarma Samaj Samiti’s Executive State President Manoj Vishwakarma and State Convenor Vishnu Vishwakarma met and discussed with the Shahpura Police Station in-charge on Sunday. A memorandum has been submitted on behalf of the society and a demand has been made for an impartial investigation of the case. On this occasion, the family members of the deceased including the District President of the committee Praveen and a large number of social friends were present. The police station in-charge has assured the committee officials of an impartial investigation in the matter. 0

Woman sexually assaulted

Piplani police has registered a case of sexual exploitation against a young man on the report of a woman. The victim used to work at the house of the accused. Police is investigating the matter. According to the information, a 30-year-old woman living in the area works in people’s houses. About three years ago, she used to work at Prateek Rajan’s house. During this time, one day Prateek found the woman alone and raped her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone. When the woman did not complain, the accused started sexually exploiting her from time to time. During this time, he also took some money from the woman.

A few months ago, when the woman asked for her money back, he beat her up and fired her from the job. Troubled, the victim went to the police station and registered a case against him. The police of the same police station has registered a case against a young man named Shashank on the report of a 16-year-old girl for stalking and molesting her and abusing her when she protested. The accused was harassing the girl for the last two months. Efforts are being made to arrest him.
