Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that keeping in mind the goal of making Madhya Pradesh developed, prosperous and self-reliant, the budget of 2025-26 presented is all-inclusive and visionary. This budget is an important step towards taking the state’s economy to 2 trillion dollars by 2047. All sectors like industrial development, infrastructure, agriculture, education, health, women empowerment and employment generation have been given priority in the budget.
This year, the budget of the health sector has been increased by 15 percent to a total of Rs 23,535 crore, which is Rs 2,992 crore more than last year. This will help in expanding and strengthening health services. Shukla has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Deputy CM (Finance) Jagdish Devda for the all-beneficial and development-oriented budget.
Shukla said special budgetary provision has been made for the preparations of Simhastha-2028, so that the religious and cultural event can be given grandeur. Extensive budgetary allocation has been made for the balanced and planned development of urban and rural areas.
