CM addresses election rallies in support of BJP candidates
Bhopal: On Tuesday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed election rallies in support of BJP candidates contesting in seven constituencies, which include Devsar, Teonthar, Semaria, Rewa, Gudh, Amarpatan, and SouthWest Assembly seats in Bhopal. During this rally, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched a scathing attack on Priyanka Gandhi’s recent visit to Madhya Pradesh, accusing her of spreading falsehoods. In a sarcastic tone, Chouhan remarked, “Priyanka, be careful not to lie too much.” He then posed several questions to Priyanka Gandhi, asking her to account for the Congress Party’s contributions to the state.
Chouhan questioned Priyanka Gandhi, pointing out that the Congress party has become divided and riddled with internal conflicts, with one faction led by Digvijaya Singh and another by Kamal Nath. He criticized the Congress for prioritizing its family interests and questioned what they had accomplished for the state. Chouhan also refuted allegations against the BJP’s stance on farmers, highlighting the Kisan Samman Nidhi, irrigation improvements, and zero-interest loans provided by the Prime Minister and himself, while accusing the Congress of failing to fulfill promises regarding loan waivers for farmers.
Chouhan emphasized that Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, has expressed distrust in the Congress, claiming that it cheats people and is not a party worthy of trust. He mocked the confusion surrounding Kamal Nath’s age and stated that if the Congress isn’t trusted by anyone, how can they expect the state to trust them?
Chouhan praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in advancing the nation’s development and raising India’s global stature. He called for the need for a BJP government in Madhya Pradesh to continue the state’s progress and urged supporters to vote for BJP candidates to ensure their victory.
