Bhopal: A woman who reached Lower Lake with the intention of suicide was saved by the police with the help of people and was safely handed over to the family. The family members have been advised not to quarrel with the woman. According to the information, on Monday-Tuesday night at around 1.30 am, a woman reached Lower Lake with the intention of suicide and standing near the railing, tried to jump into the lake. When the local people noticed her, they talked to the woman and stopped her from jumping into the pond and started questioning her.
Meanwhile, constable Meghraj Khatri of Talaiya police station was returning from duty. When he noticed her, he reached the woman and talked to her. After her anger subsided, the woman told that she had come with the intention of committing suicide after a quarrel with her family members. Constable Khatri contacted the woman’s husband and family members and called them to the spot. After that, after giving advice, she was safely handed over to the family members. The husband has been advised not to have any kind of quarrel with the woman. If people had not noticed her in time, the woman would have jumped into the lake.

Youth dies after consuming poisonous substance
A youth living in Berasia area consumed some poisonous substance, which led to his death. After conducting the inquest and conducting the postmortem, the police handed over the body to the family. The reason for consuming poison has not been revealed yet. According to the police, Ravi Meena son of Madhav Singh Meena (25) lived in Mochipura Berasia and worked in a private job. Woman caught with illegal ganja
The capital police is continuously taking action against illegal drugs and alcohol. Talaiya police caught a middle-aged woman and confiscated about 700 grams of ganja kept illegally with her.
