Kanhaiya Lodhi, Bhopal
12 December is a special day for the state. On this day, the state got a new government and new leadership. Dr. Mohan Yadav took the oath of the Chief Minister’s post and took over the reins of the state, one year of Dr. Yadav’s tenure has been completed. During this one year period, the Mohan government has more or less accelerated the work of the government in all areas and has further accelerated the wheel of development of the state. Half the population of the state is also not behind in terms of the benefits of the speed of development. After all, unless women are empowered and they are not connected to the mainstream of development, then there is no significance of any kind of development. Half the population of the state is continuously getting stronger. This is also because empowerment of women of the state is included in the top priority of Dr. Mohan Yadav government. The first chapter of women empowerment in Madhya Pradesh is that Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country where women are being given the benefit of 35 percent reservation in government jobs. Earlier it was 33 percent, which Dr. Mohan Yadav’s government has increased by two percent and has taken an innovative initiative to give equal rights to women. The system of 50 percent reservation has already been implemented in the elections of Panchayat and urban bodies in the state.
Dr. Mohan Yadav exposed the negative narrative
Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana was implemented in the state about one and a half years ago. This scheme was implemented before the assembly elections of the year 2023, under which sisters were being given Rs 1000 per month, but during the assembly elections, the leaders of the opposition political parties kept spreading the propaganda that this scheme would be stopped after the formation of the BJP government, this is only for the elections, but the process of sisters getting Rs 1250 per month under this scheme started before the elections, continued without any hindrance even during the new BJP government formed under the leadership of Dr. Mohan Yadav. The attempt to create a negative narrative regarding this scheme was exposed by the Mohan government, the result of which was that BJP got tremendous support from women in the assembly as well as Lok Sabha elections. Under this scheme, an amount of more than Rs 1572 crore is being given in the accounts of one crore 29 lakh sisters of the state, which is also proving to be very helpful in giving them financial independence. Mohan government is giving loans to entrepreneurial women at just 2% interest rate
The state government is trying to make more and more women self-reliant, self-reliant can be done only when they are entrepreneurial. That is, they should not only arrange employment for themselves but also help in providing employment to some other women. Keeping this feeling in mind, Dr. Mohan Yadav’s government is now providing loans to entrepreneurial women in the state at just 2% interest rate. Here, under the livelihood mission, more than 40 lakh women of the state have been linked to self-employment. Which is a big achievement.
Govt is also fulfilling the responsibility of making daughters doctors, judges
Here, the Mohan government has decided to upgrade 12 thousand 670 mini Anganwadi centers of the state as full Anganwadi centers. For this, a total of 13 thousand 146 new posts have been approved, including 476 new posts of supervisors, 12 thousand 670 Anganwadi assistants. The process of filling which has been started. The state government itself has taken the responsibility of bearing the expenses of preparing the daughters for the examinations of doctor, engineer, JEE, judge, CA etc. so that the parents do not have to bear the burden of it. The state government is giving an incentive of Rs 25,000 to the daughters on taking admission in graduation or professional courses after class 12th. The intention of the state government has been that every daughter of the state can fulfill her dreams. As far as security is concerned, the state government has formed Shaurya Dal with the aim of preventing crimes against women and making it effective, in which 22 lakh women and girls have been made members.
