Bhopal: A workshop was organized about dengue to give information to the students of Sarojini Naidu Girls HS School about the disease. It was organised by Health & Family Welfare Department regional office.
Regional Director Dr Chandrashekhar Gedam explained about destroying the Aedes mosquitoes and its larvae which cause dengue. He said Aedes mosquitoes lay eggs in clean water, so water should not be al;lowed to accumulate in homes and nearby areas. Water tanks should be kept covered.
An exhibition on Aedes mosquitoes, larvae and Gambusis fish was organised. A drawing competition and prize distribution was also held.
