Specific recommendations included selecting insect-resistant varieties of pigeon pea and gram suitable for Madhya Pradesh’s agro-climatic zones, as well as implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Integrated Disease Management (IDM) strategies.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Verma emphasized the vital role of pulses in human diets and their contribution to soil health, asserting that the event was instrumental in raising awareness about modern pulse production techniques. The program, coordinated by Dr. Rishikesh Mandloi, concluded with expressions of gratitude to all participants and supporters.
