Yashwant Jain honored at National Association for the Blind Hostel

Bhopal: Sushil Kumar Jain, President of the Paryavaran Sanskritik Sanrakshan evam Manav Kalyan Trust, along with Yashwant S. Jain from PNB (CO), who traveled from Mumbai as the chief guest, were honored at a recent event. The occasion celebrated the safe return of NASA astronaut Sunita Williams to Earth after 286 days in space. In a gesture of joy, Yashwant S. Jain provided snacks for all the children at the Bhopal National Association for the Blind Hostel.

During the celebration, Jain emphasized the importance of hard work and courage in overcoming life’s challenges, encouraging all children and students to draw inspiration from Sunita Williams’ remarkable career. He highlighted her significant achievements, saying that during her time at the space station, she conducted 900 hours of research and completed over 150 experiments.

The children at the hostel are visually impaired from birth, with their eyes not fully developed at the time of birth, leaving them without the option of vision. The program aims to teach these visually impaired children self-reliance and essential skills, enabling them to lead dignified lives and secure employment in fields that match their talents and abilities.
