Varanasi, Nov 16 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday performed darshan and pooja at the Kashi Vishwanath and Kal Bhairav temples.
The CM offered Shodashopachar Puja in the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Vishwanath’s temple, praying for public welfare.
Later, he performed Aarti and worshipped Kashi Kotwal Baba Kal Bhairav, seeking blessings according to traditional rituals.
Yogi, who is on a two-day tour to Varanasi, also visited the Satua Baba Ashram at Manikarnika Ghat to attend a programme commemorating the 12th death anniversary of Satua Baba.
He paid tribute to the spiritual leader and participated in the event organised in his memory.
Besides, he visited the hospital to inquire about the health of former MLA Shyamdev Rai Chaudhary.
Gorakhpur MP and actor Ravi Kishan, Minister Ravindra Jaiswal, MLA Neelkanth Tiwari were present on the occasion.
