Bhopal: Despite the ban, the sale of Chinese manja (Thread) continues in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. This dangerous manja has become a constant threat to people, with several fatalities occurring in the state due to its use. The authorities’ failure to take decisive action has allowed the widespread sale of Chinese manja to persist, even after the tragic deaths of many. Periodically, incidents of injuries caused by this harmful manja continue to surface.

The latest incident took place on VIP Road in Bhopal, where a young man riding a motorcycle had his nose severed by a Chinese manja. The manja appeared suddenly while he was riding the bike, and before the youth could react, his nose was cut. The injury resulted in heavy bleeding. A crowd quickly gathered at the scene, and the injured youth was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

It is clear that Chinese manja remains a life-threatening hazard to both pedestrians and motorists. Similar incidents have occurred frequently on the roads, with some even proving fatal. Despite the ban, the continued sale of Chinese manja in Bhopal is baffling, leaving many questioning how it is still being sold in the city.
